I am passionate about helping and supporting mothers/parents from the day they decide to have a baby all the way through the child’s birth and early years. This means I am also here to support individuals experiencing pregnancy loss and infertility. We do a lot as a culture to support babies’ health and development, but often moms/parents are forgotten about or treated as an afterthought. My role is to support YOU as not only a parent, but as a whole person outside of parenthood. I care how you are adjusting to one of the hugest changes you will ever experience. I help with the following:
- Unplanned pregnancy
- Struggles adjusting to pregnancy
- Infertility (including secondary infertility)
- Miscarriage
- Gender disappointment
- Mental health struggles during pregnancy
- Fetal medical diagnosis in utero
- Traumatic delivery/birth trauma
- NICU stays
- Unexpected medical diagnosis at birth/infancy
- Difficulty bonding with baby
- Difficulty adjusting to having a new baby
- Pregnancy/postpartum body image struggles
- Postpartum mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD
- Intrusive thoughts postpartum
- Loss of own identity following becoming a parent
- Adjusting to changes in employment following the birth of a child (becoming a stay at home parent or going back to work)
- Adjusting to changes in relationships following the birth of a child
