FAQs

  • How do I get started?
    • If you are interested in setting up a free 30 min meet and greet to determine if we are the right fit for a counseling relationship, please call (406) 969-8118 or email ashley@ashleycrtalic.com
  • How much does a session cost?
    • Individual 50 minute session: $100
    • Couples 50 minute session: $125
    • I do provide a limited number of sliding-fee scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please contact me for more details.
  • Do you take insurance?
    • Because I am a PCLC, I am not yet able to bill all insurances. If you have questions about your particular insurance, please contact me.
  • What does the first session look like?
    • At the meet and greet, we will get to meet each other and ask questions to determine if I am the right counselor for you. You are encouraged to ask me any questions you may have at this time. This session is informal and not considered therapy.  I encourage clients to take some time after the meet and greet to think about if I am the right fit for them and to interview other therapists as well.
    • If we both determine that I am a good fit for you, we will then schedule an intake appointment. The intake is where I will gather basic information about you, your physical and mental health, and background. I will ask you about your goals and what you are hoping to get out of counseling. We will also go over basic paperwork at this appointment like an informed consent, and discuss confidentiality.
    • After the intake, the work begins! We will decide together on the necessary frequency of appointments and set a regular appointment time.
  • Do you do telehealth?
    • Yes! However, I can only provide telehealth services to Montana residents.
  • How long will I need counseling for?
    • Every client is different. Some may only need very short term counseling to address a specific issue or situation, while others may need longer term therapy. This decision will be made by both the client and the counselor and can be revisited as often as needed.
